On June 3rd, a motion control workshop will be held in Studio 727, intended for all students of VFX and cameramanship at the Faculty of Film and Television of the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
Brief description: The workshop is part of the KEGA research project of the teachers of the Studio of Cinematography FTF VŠMU. It is focused on the professional legacy of the personality of Róbert Hardonyi in the field of exponometry and sensitometry in professional cinematography practice. For this reason, the focus technology will be working with 35mm, 16mm and S8mm film raw materials. At the same time, it is necessary to implement a part shot with current digital technologies for the purposes of comparing both technologies. An important requirement is the possibility of accurately replicating specific shots in dynamic camera mode - the use of Motion control technology.
The goal of the workshop: To obtain a database, sequences - exponometrically in the light-tonal solution of the content and lighting of the scene of exhaustive shots for the needs of subsequent analysis within the project assignment. At the same time, the goal is to expand and deepen the possibilities of teaching cinematography practice within the ACP. Another goal is the full participation and implementation involvement of the ACP student group.
